Example Through Morning Meeting

Posted by trinitas on Jan 22, 2016 3:35:37 PM

Trinitas Christian School begins each day with a devotional time called Morning Meeting.  Our entire student body gathers together along with many of our parents to hear a lesson from God’s Word, recite a selected scripture passage, sing a great hymn of the faith, and together offer a prayer to our Loving Heavenly Father; we seek to paint a picture for how all families should begin their day in fellowship with God. One of our prayers is taken from the book of Puritan prayers entitled, The Valley of Vision.  The title of the prayer is Morning Dedication.  It closes with these words, “May I speak each word as if my last word, and walk each step as my final one.  If my life should end today, let this be my best day.”  We desire to teach each student through the school community and culture (the way we live life) this simple truth: God wants our best.
