Mr. Gilley’s two sons, Colby and Parker, attended Trinitas from kindergarten through graduation. During that time, he served on the Trinitas Board of Governors, taught fifth grade, and served as our Headmaster for five years.

Having watched his own children, who now have children of their own, and other Trinitas alums and students, he is more convinced than ever that classical Christian education has a special way of helping students become God-honoring, broad-minded people who know how to live life well and spread gospel-joy everywhere they go.

Mr. Gilley attends Providence Church (CREC) in Pensacola where he serves as an elder.

Mrs. Phillips taught children for over thirty-five years. After homeschooling her four children for fifteen years, she taught in a classical school in Georgia before coming to Trinitas. She has presented workshops at ACCS national and regional conferences, and is called upon frequently to present teacher training modules for Trinitas and other regional classical schools.

Mrs. Phillips is an accomplished musician who accompanies Morning Meeting and Trinitas choral performances. Her love for music fills her classroom and overflows into her students’ hearts.

Mrs. Phillips retired from the Trinitas classroom after twenty years of teaching, she continues to serve our school in an administrative role as our Director of Grammar Instruction.
